QUINCY, Mass. – A 29-year-old Quincy man has been arrested and is facing several charges, including human trafficking.

On Oct. 10, Quincy Police began investigating after speaking with a victim about a larceny. A search warrant was obtained and executed just before 4 a.m. Thursday.

Officers arrested Robert Bozeman of 25 Buckley Street Apt. 3 with the following charges:

  • Human trafficking
  • Assault with a deadly weapon
  • Threats to commit a crime
  • Armed assault to murder
  • Possession of a firearm without FID
  • Discharging a firearm within 500-feet of a building
  • Possession of ammunition without FID
  • Assault with a deadly weapon
  • Possession with intent to distribute cocaine
  • Possession of an electric stun gun without FIC/LTC
  • Numerous assault and battery charges

In court Thursday, the district attorney’s office said Bozeman’s girlfriend said he “pimps” her out on Massachusetts Avenue for money. She estimates that Bozeman trafficked her about 40 times.

She also told the DA that he punched her several times, pushed her against a bedroom dresser and fired a gun at her.

When Bozeman was arrested, police found a bag of crack cocaine on him and his girlfriend told authorities he also deals drugs on Mass. Ave. 

Bozeman’s court-appointed attorney says there’s not enough evidence against him.

“It seems that much of the police report is based on third-hand information provided to the police,” the attorney said.

Bozeman is also accused of stealing another woman’s credit card and threatening to kill her boyfriend.

Bozeman will stay in jail until a dangerousness hearing, and he is due back in court on Oct. 23.
